Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your interest in the Psychosocial Care for War-Torn Villages in Nigeria project. At this time, no donations have been received, so the planned support activities have not yet begun.
Across conflict-affected villages, many individuals continue to live with trauma, grief, and fear after losing loved ones, homes, and livelihoods. Women and children are among the most affected, yet access to mental health services remains very limited.
Without proper care, untreated trauma can lead to depression, anxiety, family breakdown, and ongoing distress within communities.
This project is designed to provide trauma counseling, group support sessions, child-friendly activities, and training for local volunteers through mobile teams that can reach remote areas.
With the right support, families can begin to cope, rebuild stability, and create safer, more supportive community environments.
We appreciate your time in learning about this effort and remain hopeful that support will come so this project can begin and reach those in urgent need of care.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
