With your constant support, we have successfully run our psychosocial support projects for over a year. We are proud to have addressed every request along the way, and it has been an honor to serve the community.
This summer, we held another capacity-building professional training in psychosocial support for mental health and allied professionals.
On July 18, we held the last "Psychological First Aid" module of the 22-hour "Psychosocial Support" professional training featuring the following modules:
The training is a part of the organisation's psychosocial support projects. It was available to all specialists who provide or prepare to provide services to vulnerable groups. We aim to help specialists acquire the essential knowledge to help provide targeted services and strengthen community resilience.
In total, 37 specialists actively participated in the training. In the anonymous survey, 85 percent of the participants say they can apply the knowledge gained during the training in their daily work.
The fourth "Co-production" module of the "Psychosocial Support" professional training is unique in its approach, offering joint, equal work arrangements in the context of mental health and well-being.
Co-production involves individuals with lived experiences in the design and delivery of services. This collaborative approach empowers people, ensuring their needs are addressed and acknowledged.
It fosters a sense of ownership, enhances the relevance and effectiveness of interventions, and builds trust between service users and providers.
Our work has been guided by the community's needs, with a strong emphasis on providing group support. We successfully conducted co-production group sessions in Gyumri, made possible with the help of our partners. To enhance our services, we have scheduled another round of co-production meetings with mental health specialists this September.
As we finish the year, we are excited to move forward with a focus on long-term sustainability and continuity.
