Identification and awareness
As part of the launch of its 2018 activities, AEFA Cameroon launched an awareness campaign for vulnerable young people living with HIV in the Mayo Tsanaga communities.
The administrative, local and traditional authorities in general have very well received the implementation of this initiative in their respective localities and have expressed their availability for the accompaniment of AEFA Cameroon to young people.
EFA Cameroon's work team conducted registration and identification sensitization raids in all ten locations.
Thanks to the support of the administrative authorities, like the Ministry of Youth and Civic Education, the delegation of public health which are youth leadership structures, EFA Cameroon has listed in the target area , all associations and individuals committed to community development.
This already available file will allow in the near future to put a youth support action plan through their own expressed need.
