Hello, again!
The quality of life of older adults with low incomes in our country, unfortunately, is very low, situations such as abandonment, poverty and exclusion, in addition to the lack of foresight for their future, make older adults a very vulnerable population.
The Foundation's elderly houses provide nursery the 24 hours, medical service, food, housekeeping, recreational activities, gym, physiotherapy, library, transportation, laundry, TV, telephone and vigilance. Among competitive advantages, highlight a warm and personalized attention, as well as an incomparable family environment.
The Teodoro Gildred Residence located in Azcapotzalco, D.F. belonging to the Bringas Haghenbeck Foundation, I.A.P. It has been operating since 1989, it has the capacity to house 126 older adults. Thanks to the team work oriented and based on our Intervention Model, the Foundation reduces the conditions of physical, mental, emotional and social vulnerability of the elderly residents, managing to improve their quality of life and that of their families through their residential service and with the execution of its programs of nutrition, medical and nursing care, occupational therapy, physical therapy and rehabilitation, emotional health and social integration.
