Dear Supporters and well wisher,
Christmas & New Year Greetings from NBJK!!
My heart is filled with gratitude while sharing this report to you all. I am happy to share that in this quarter we conducted 60 eye surgeries and restored the vision of cataract patients. The disadvantaged rural people who cannot afford private medication and medical facilities are being treated and regaining a dignified life after successful surgeries is not only facilitating the beneficiaries but also motivating and courageous for us. I hope you will enjoy reading the remarkable change made in the lives of beneficiaries through your contribution. I am hereby sharing two success stories of the beneficiaries.
Mrs. Chando belongs to Zokat Village, Chouparan, Hazaribagh. She is a 40 years old lady. In her family there are 7 members including one son and four daughters. Her son is studying and daughters are married. Most of the times, Chando is engaged with the household chores. And whenever she gets time she works at her own agriculture field or even in others field also. Her husband is auto rickshaw driver, and for a day her husband earns maximum two hundred rupees per day. Her Husband is the only earning member of the family since her only son is studying in high school. Somehow she was managing her family. Few months back she suddenly felt vision problem in her eyes and could not see properly. One day she came to LNJP Eye Hospital’s camp and met with camp organiser. Mrs. Chando shared her current condition with the camp organizer. She was diagnosed with cataract in her eye. She underwent cataract surgery as free of cost with your kind donation under GLOBAL GIVING. Now Chando is back to her normal life with ratified vision. She is confident and happy while sharing her feedbacks.
Another person named Ankit is a student belongs to Gaya, Bihar. Few years ago he realized that his vision sight is constantly decreasing. He couldn’t read the book. His father is a marginal framer and hardly manages to earn Rs. 3000 to 4000 per month. This small amount was not enough to run the family even. Therefore he was simply unable to manage the money for Ankit’s treatment. One day Aankit came to camp and shared his problem to the doctor. He was suffering from cataract problem. The Camp organizer brought him to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash eye hospital. After successful surgery his vision is back and Ankit is feeling happy to realize that he may study again. Subsequently, he underwent cataract surgery as free of cost under GLOBAL GIVING with your kind support. He thanks to GLOBAL GIVING and whole team of LNJP eye hospital.
The colour of life filled with confidence and independence could not be possible without your generous support. I, on behalf of whole NBJK and the whole group of beneficiaries convey my gratitude to all of you. I hope our commitment will fulfil their life with dignity and self-reliance.
Thanking You
Warm Regards
