Dear Supporters,
We are pleased to inform you that with your generous donations we have been till date able to restore vision of 351 needy, poor and marginalized cataract blind people. All these beneficiaries express their sincere gratitude and give their heartflet blessings for coming forward to support them when they needed it the most.
Your contributions have allowed them to lead their life again as earlier, become independent, earn for their family, take care of them and most important feel better about themselves. Now, they can see this world and work hard towards fulfilling their dreams.
Life is hard for many of us. Some can deal with it and some get use to it due to their inability to deal with it. Some people need support and hence we appreciate your efforts in helping us transform their lives. Not many get the opportunity to witness the transformation that took place in the life of the beneficiaries with your kind contribution. So, here I am to present the progress report so that you can know what you contribution helped us acheive in the last quarter:
Since our last update, 10 Village Screening camps were organised in different villages and in every Screening camp 30-35 people were checked for various eye issues. Some were diagnosed of cataract and were duly referred to the Eye Hospital for further check-up.
Out of many diagnosed, Muni was one of them. He is a 60 year old poor marginal farmer. He belong to Pandeybara village and came to know about the Screening camp via the advertisemnt done by us. He attended the Screening camp and was diagnosed of cataract in his right eye. During diagnosis his vision of Right eye was 6/60. He was brought to the hospital and with proper check-up was operated for cataract on 19th August, 2015. His vision is currently 6/9 after surgery and he can see clearly now.
He has four sons but none of them live with him. He takes care of his wife himself. With his improved vision he can work like earlier and is extremely grateful for the support in restoring his vision.
He said " Life was really difficult and I did not know how to fix the problem due to my financial issues. No one came forward to help. You people are like angels in my life who came to help me. I express my sincere gratitude for your kind support. God bless you all".
Thanking You
With Regards
Shweta Sinha
