With constant effort to reach the needy and marginalised population in the remotest of villages and provide them with quality eye care services; NBJK is pro-actively reaching the community at their door-step by organising Screening camps and offereing services for diagnosis, treatment and consultation. NBJK in its effort to serve the marginalised cataract blind organised Cataract Screening Camps in the remote villages where the villagers turned in huge numbers for their dignosis.
With many diagnosed and referred to the base hospital for treatment; Manan Ansari was one of them. He is a 62 year old man belonging to Sarayahat block of Dumka district. He was diagnosed of cataract in both of his eyes and his vision was deteriorating. He was referred to the base hospital where he was further diagnosed and was operated successfully for cataract in his right eye. He was diacharged from the hospital with improved vision of RE 6/12, proper medication and was very happy with the support.
He said "With the services available at the doorstep and free for people like us; NBJK is a life savior. Otherwise many of us were left with no other option other than to go blind."
We express our hearthfelt gratitude towards the donors ans supporters who are having faith in our cause and are supporting us to provide vision to the needy and marginalised. Please keep on supporting us so that we can reach and transform lives of many more in need.
