Dear Supporters and Well Wishers
Heartiest Greetings from NBJK!!
People see beauty of nature through their eyes but when these eyes are affected and the whole world gradually become dark due to loss of vision, people lose hope to live. Cataract is very common, and sign and symptoms are also noticeable. Due to cataract, patients will not be able to experience the moment of life clearly. So, with all your support NBJK is running two LNJP Eye Hospitals to help poor villagers to regain their eyesight back through free cataract eye surgery who cannot afford it. It cannot be expressed in word the moment after the operation when they regain their sight and are able to go back to their work happily.
“Journey from blindness to regain eyesight” – A case of Malti
Malti is 69 years old poor widow lady, having 3 sons and 1 daughter. Her all children are married and busy in their own life, no one is taking care of her. She has a small piece of land where she grow some vegetables. Agriculture is the only source of income. She is suffering from the problem of cataract since 1(one) year but due to monetary problem she was not able to go ahead for surgery. When her vision was fully lost and she start facing problem in her daily chores, she came to LNJP eye hospital’s camp and disclosed her financial condition with camp organizer. Our camp organizer described about free surgery in eye hospital with support from donation through Global Giving. She was also facilitated for free transportation to hospital and she underwent a successful surgery through which her vision was back. She is very thankful to Global Giving team and donors for their generous support. Your support brings happiness to the life of these poor villagers.
Thanks again to cure their blindness.
