Cure Blindness, Bring Happiness
Respected Supporters and Well Wishers
Heartiest Greetings from NBJK!!
Eyes are the window of our body which help us to view our surroundings and keep us safe. But when these eyes are affected by cataract the whole world begins to look blur and gradually become disappear due to vision loss. People lives in cities, educated and health conscious are very much aware of cataract. But people who live in remote area or village and are very poor don’t know about the cataract. If somebody knows then he/she does not have money and knowledge to cure blindness. So, with all your support NBJK is running two LNJP eye hospitals in Hazaribag and Dumka districts of Jharkhand and helping poor villagers to bring their eyesight back.
Habib life has completely changed
Habib is labor living in Chauparan village of Hazaribag District. He is 70 years old. He has five sons and one daughter. Two sons are working as a driver and one is working in a restaurant. Other two are not working. There are twelve members in his family and according to the number of members, their monthly income is only Rs 10000/-, which is not enough for a large family. All they live in a mud house. He suffered from poor vision for a couple of years and did not know any remedy. Eventually, due to his poor vision, he was unable to carry out his daily activities which affected his ability to earn.
One news reporter brought her to LNJP eye camp where he was diagnosed with cataract. He went to the LNJP eye hospital for free surgery with his son and underwent surgery on his left eye. Now he enjoys good vision. After the work, he plays and talks with his grandchildren and feel proud by providing economic support to his family at this age. He is very thankful to Global Giving and donors for their generous support.
Your support brings happiness in the life of these poor villagers and makes them independent. Thanks again to cure their blindness.
