Igniting a vision, a dream, a future
Respected Supporters and Well Wishers
Heartiest Greetings from NBJK!!
Eyes are one of the most important sensory organs in the human body because it renders vision and the power to see. In our society, there are so many people who are living a very pitiful life due to low eyesight and blindness. With your support, we are trying to reach more and needier people who have lost their eyesight due to cataract and providing them new vision for making their life easy and independent. We are very obliged to share this report with all of you.
Bahadur got support
Brief Description:
Bahadur stays with his wife in Barmasiya. He is 70 years old poor man and living a very heart-rending life in this age. He lives in a mud house. He has two sons and one daughter. All are married. His sons work in Mumbai. Bahadur used to do labour work for surviving but one year ago he broke his left leg and due to this, he is unable to do labouring work. There is no another source of income. Both old husband and wife depended on their son. Unfortunately, their kids don’t take care of them. They generally come once in two years and hardly give money to their parents or sometimes they don’t give. They just come for the small piece of land on which his hut is made. Bahadur already had so many problems, now his vision was deteriorating. But he was just losing his hope to live.
But one day our camp organiser organised a camp in his village. One of his neighbours took him in the camp where he found cataract in his right eye. Our camp organizer told him about free surgery in eye hospital Dumka. Bahadur got free transportation facility to reach the hospital and underwent a successful surgery which returned his vision. He is very happy and said, “As a father, I worked hard for the rearing of my children but they did not support when I needed them but NBJK and donors through Global Giving helped me to see again. I will always be obliged to all of them.”
We thanks for your generous support.
