More Students Still Need Solar Lanterns

Dear Donors and partners,

In our last project activity, we distributed 80 solar-powered lanterns to students of Government Secondary School (GSS) Karshi, Abuja, where the school and student hostel had been without electricity for four years. Your generosity gave these students something many children take for granted: the opportunity to read, complete assignments, and prepare for examinations after sunset.

Since that distribution, we have not received any new donations to support another phase of the project. As a result, we have been unable to reach more students who are still struggling to study without reliable electricity. It is heartbreaking to know that many children in underserved communities must stop reading when darkness falls, not because they lack the desire to learn, but because they have no source of light.

Despite this setback, we remain hopeful that more support will come. Our goal is to extend the distribution of solar-powered lanterns to more students and schools, giving children better opportunities to succeed academically. We believe that no child's education should suffer simply because their school or home has no electricity.

We sincerely thank everyone who has supported this project. Your kindness made our first distribution possible, and we hope you will continue standing with these students. Please consider supporting the next phase or sharing this project with friends and family so that we can bring light to more children and help them pursue their educational dreams.

Thank you for your continued support!
