Solar Grandma continues to get support in Gongali Village, Tanzania

By Askwar Hilonga | Director

Solar Grandma in Gongali Village -Arusha, Tanzania

This quarter (until end of April 2024) we did not receive donation for the solar lantern. The good news we have is that the “Solar Grandma” we reported last quarter (Agatha) in Gongali Village continues to get support in Gongali Village. Now she got a shop that has accept her to place her solar lanterns so it can be accessible to many people (and she keeps a few at her home). We will continue to market her business as we did before (by giving free donations to the most needy families, whenever we get support from you – our generous supporters on GlobalGiving):

We continue to appreciate and support the Grandma (Agatha) for this personal initiative she took. We hope her effort will bear fruit in the near future and many people will support her business. We count on you – I will update you on the impact made by your support whenever you do so. You may even directly contact me via my email: hilonga@gmail.com.

The Grandma has turned this business into her favorite activity – looks like it satisfies her so much.

Next time, when TAHUDE gets another free donation, we will make this Grandma as part of the distribution team of TAHUDE Foundation – I am sure she will love it!

Let me know how you would like to be personally involved in this year 2024.

NB:

We will be happy to WELCOME you to Tanzania; we will give you a free ride to the people you supported with your generous donations – it will be so happy for our community members to see your face!

KARIBU SANA TANZANIA!

HAKUNA MATATA!
