This quarter (May – July 2023) we received a donation of $800 (Eight hundred US Dollar) that enabled us to distribute solar lanterns for FREE to 100 children in Gongali Village. Each solar lantern costs $8 by the time it reaches a child in Gongali Village, which is about 160 km from Arusha Town in Tanzania. We are tempted to THANK YOU ALL by listing your names here! But I understand that this will not be appropriate in this GlobalGiving platform. So please kindly consider this as our formal THANK YOU note for your generous support of $800. If you want to get details of how the distribution was done or the names of children who benefited; or if you want to support another group of children please kindly write to my inbox (hilonga@gmail.com). I will be so happy to give you any details as it may be necessary. Also I encourage all our donors who are visiting Tanzania for any reason - let say for Safari (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Mount Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar, etc) - to drop-by and visit our beneficiaries face to face! I can’t imagine how all those children will feel when they see your faces – all of you who are supporting this project. Attached, please kindly consider some of the photos showing the beautiful faces of children who received their FREE solar lanterns – you PAID for it!
THANKS ONCE MORE
