Thousands of vulnerable rural families in Pakistan live in unsafe shelters damaged by poverty, heavy rains, flooding, and economic hardship. Many low-income farming families have suffered severe financial losses due to low crop prices, rising inflation, and increasing living costs. As a result, families are unable to afford even basic home repairs and continue living in damaged houses with leaking roofs, unsafe walls, and poor sanitation. Women, children, elderly persons, are most effected.
