Dear HOPE Supporter,
It is with great delight that I inform you that we have combined this wonderful prject of providing safe delivert to rural mothers with another project of ours; providing antenatal care in the home of 500 mothers. Our reasoning for combining these two projects is simple: 7% of women in our area experience high-risk pregnancy. Our project afording us to provide antenatal care to 500 mothers does not have in its budget a cost for mothers who desperately need to give birth in a hospital setting or to receive a cesarean section. HOPE staf and doctors are not comfortable in notifying our patients they are high risk and not providing a solution; this is where this Global Giving project comes into play! We want to ensure another mother and child does not die during delivery under our watch.
Please help us continue providing an essential service to these families; in providing safe delivery you are not saving one life, but two.
Best Regards,
Ashley Pugh
