Can’d Aid Tunes 2019 Year in Review
The Tunes program supports music and the arts both through our relationship with emerging artists (Tunes Ambassadors) and by providing public school music programs in need of brand-new instruments and music workshops for their students.
The Tunes Program helps grow the next generation of musicians and music lovers and supports existing artists in various stages of their careers. The long-term benefits of music education include increased brain function, accelerated language development, higher IQs, improved test scores and is a particularly effective therapy for at-risk youth.
Studies indicate that 80% of public schools have experienced budget cuts with music and arts taking the largest hits.
2019 Outcomes:
The Tunes program is funded by donors like you who believe in the importance of growing the next generation of musicians and providing every child, the opportunity to learn a musical instrument. Thank you for your continued support! With your help, we can continue to provide Tunes programming throughout the US in 2020.
