Provide Tech Health Solutions for Nigerian Youth

EVA mobile health solution project has continued to make significant impact in the lives of young people in Nigeria through her mobile health solution service. The goal of the Mobile Solution service is to encourage information seeking behavior among young people while providing access to accurate, non-judgmental responses to sexual reproductive health issues in order to reduce high-risk behavior that may lead to HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, unplanned pregnancy and complications from unsafe abortions.

EVA is glad to inform you that in just 2months, a total of 29500 questions were responded to on sexual reproductive health and HIV/AIDS through the SMS/web platform and a total of 309 questions through the voice call. There has been a consistent increase in the number of questions received from young people.

“I think the service is good because even with the poor network, the counsellors are still patient enough to strain their ears so they can hear us” Male 18years old.
