RSKS India successfully implemented a clean energy support initiative for vulnerable nomadic families living in underserved settlements of Rajasthan. During a community survey, more than five families were identified who were living without access to basic electricity, facing daily hardships after sunset. Children struggled to continue their studies in darkness, while women carried out household responsibilities in unsafe and difficult conditions. Recognizing the urgent need for sustainable energy solutions, RSKS India stepped forward to improve their living conditions with dignity and care.
Under this intervention, portable solar light systems were distributed to the identified families. Each system included bulbs, an emergency lamp, a solar panel, and mobile charging support to ensure reliable and eco friendly access to light. In addition to the distribution, the RSKS team conducted practical awareness and training sessions on solar system usage, maintenance, and the importance of renewable energy, empowering families to confidently manage and sustain the systems for long term benefit.
The initiative has brought meaningful transformation to the daily lives of the beneficiary families. Children are now able to study under proper lighting, while women can safely manage household work during evening hours. The bright smiles and heartfelt gratitude of the families reflected the positive impact of this support and the renewed sense of hope it has created.
