Project Summary

Fageli Good Health Advocacy & Lifestyle Foundation successfully carried out a humanitarian outreach to provide food assistance to vulnerable women in Lugbe Community, Abuja. The initiative was designed to address the growing challenge of food insecurity caused by economic hardship, inflation, and the rising cost of living. Many women in the community, particularly widows, single mothers, pregnant women, nursing mothers, elderly women, women living with disabilities, and other low-income households, struggle to meet their families' daily nutritional needs.
Through this intervention, the Foundation distributed rice to carefully identified vulnerable women, helping to reduce hunger and provide temporary relief to families facing financial difficulties. The outreach also strengthened community solidarity and demonstrated the importance of supporting vulnerable populations during challenging economic times.

Project Objectives

The project aimed to:
Improve food security among vulnerable women in Lugbe Community.
Reduce the immediate burden of hunger on low-income households.
Support women and their families during a period of increasing food prices.

Future Plans
Fageli Good Health Advocacy & Lifestyle Foundation plans to expand future food distribution programmes to reach more vulnerable women and families. The Foundation also intends to integrate food assistance with nutrition education, women's empowerment initiatives, and livelihood support programmes to create more sustainable improvements in household wellbeing.
