Thanks to the generosity of GlobalGiving donors, between April and June 2026 we were able to support approximately 300 families displaced from Bakhmut who are now rebuilding their lives in the Vinnytsia region. We also provided assistance to more than 70 families with children living in temporary dormitory housing.
During this period, we not only distributed food, baby food, hygiene supplies, and other essential items, but also succeeded in engaging two additional socially responsible local business partners. Their involvement helped strengthen our response and allowed us to reach even more families in need.
Each distribution reminded us that humanitarian aid is about much more than food. For families who have lost everything, knowing they are not alone is just as important as receiving essential supplies. They feel the support of people in Ukraine as well as compassionate donors around the world who continue to stand beside them.
One moment especially stayed with us during the Easter holiday. Elderly women who had lost their homes patiently stood in line to receive traditional Easter bread and food packages. They greeted us with warm smiles, heartfelt gratitude, and wishes for peace. Watching them, our hearts ached for everything they had lost. Yet they had not lost what matters most—their kindness, dignity, and hope.
Thank you to every GlobalGiving donor for making these moments possible. Your generosity provides not only essential food but also comfort, hope, and the reassuring message that these families are not facing this journey alone.
