DELIVERING BASIC NECESSITIES TO KUALA TEBANG VIA THE TAYAN RIVER WITH A COMMUNITY SPEED BOAT
Poor road access due to rain caused the car we used to deliver groceries to Kuala Tebang Village, Tayan kec. Tayan could not go uphill.
The dirt road left over from the rain last night made our car tires collapse to the ground. Fortunately, we got a ride from a special double-warranty vehicle so that our journey could continue.
After this, to get to the destination village, we had to walk along the Tayan river for about 20 minutes.
A total of 20 families of Kuala tebang villagers received groceries from Rumah Zakat.
They expressed their deep gratitude to us.
Even though their village is not too far away, the road access is so hilly that aid rarely enters the village.
