Junior Achievement of Northern New England (JANNE) is deeply grateful to all our donors to the GlobalGiving Campaign.
The JANNE GlobalGiving project was to deliver entreprenership programs to students in kindergarten – 12th grades. We are pleased to report that, in the 2012-2013 academic year, JANNE surpassed this goal and reached a total of 38,000 students through 1,700 trained volunteers.
What we must remember is that the JA experience can be equally as rewarding for our school partners and volunteers as it can be for the students we serve. Please take a moment to read this testimonial from a JA school partner.
“My students are in grades 9-12, and the JA workshops were able to reach each of them. The young professionals who conducted the workshops for my students were positive role models. There was enough happening that the time flew and the students were disappointed to have it end. My students wrote draft resumes, learned about important skills for success, tips for money management, and more. Thank you for this opportunity.
