Dear GlobalGiving team and kind supporters,
We remain deeply grateful for your continued belief in our mission to support orphans and vulnerable children in Kamuli District through education. Your generosity keeps hope alive for children who would otherwise be left behind.
Project Progress and Field Activities.
Since our last update, our local team has continued visiting several schools and checking on the orphans we identified for support. Despite limited funding, we have managed to provide some of the children with basic school supplies such as books, pens, and pencils hence giving them the courage to begin the new school term.
These small interventions have had a visible impact. For many of the children, simply receiving a few school materials reminded them that they are not forgotten and that their dreams still matter. Teachers and guardians have also expressed their gratitude, recognizing the emotional and moral support these visits bring to the children.
Current Challenges.
However, due to the very limited funds raised so far ($55 of our $10,000 goal), most of the 100 orphans we identified remain out of school. Many lack school fees, uniforms and the essentials needed to fully attend and participate in class. It is heartbreaking to see bright, hopeful children miss school simply because of poverty and the absence of parental care.
Our Next Goal.
We are now calling upon our friends, partners and kind-hearted supporters to help us reach at least $5,000 which is half of our fundraising goal. This amount will allow us to:
Enroll at least 50 orphans in school.
Provide school supplies, uniforms and shoes.
Offer psychosocial support and follow-up visits to encourage academic success.
Work with head teachers and guardians to ensure long-term educational continuity.
A Call for Renewed Support.
Every donation will makes a difference. Your support will help these children return to school with dignity, confidence and hope for a brighter future.
Together, we can transform their stories from hardship to opportunity.
Thank you once again for your kindness and belief in our mission. Let’s continue to stand together for the education of orphans in Kamuli District.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Kibwiika Joseph
