We are so grateful that you continue to believe in our mission to empower vulnerable children through education. Our project to support 100 orphans in Kamuli district is a cornerstone of our commitment to transforming lives through access to quality education.
Project progress and current status.
Since the launch of this campaign, we have continued to identify, enrol and support orphans who are at risk of dropping out of school due to poverty and lack of parental care. Our local team in Kamuli has so far identified and profiled 100 orphans who need school fees, school supplies and basic support to attend school.
However, as of now, we have only raised $55 of our $10,000 fundraising goal. Due to these limited funds, it is difficult to initiate the full implementation phase of the project. While we have been able to provide some of the identified children with basic counselling and school visits, we are currently unable to provide them with consistent educational materials or cover their school fees.
Our immediate goal.
In order to effectively begin the implementation phase, our current goal is to raise at least 50% of the total goal ($5,000). This will allow us to:
We appeal to our donors and supporters to publicise this project in their networks to help us reach this interim goal. Even a small donation goes a long way in changing a child’s life.
What your support will do.
Every contribution will help ensure that no orphan in Kamuli is left behind due to circumstances beyond their control. Education is not only a right, but also an effective way to break the cycle of poverty and restore hope to these children.
Acknowledgement and apology.
We sincerely apologise to the GlobalGiving team and all our donors for the delay in submitting this project report. The delay is due to limited staffing and challenges in the planning and fundraising phases. We regret the delay in communication and are now committed to updating you more regularly on the progress and impact of your generous support.
Thank you again for standing with us. Together we can make education possible for these children.
Be blessed with your families.
