Building Peace and Leadership Through Sport
At the Karishma Ali Foundation, we believe that sport is far more than competition—it is a catalyst for peace, leadership, and social change. Through our Empowering Girls in Sport initiative, we continue to create opportunities for girls from diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds to come together in a safe and inclusive environment.
Girls from communities across Chitral, Hunza, Gilgit, and Quetta participate in sports activities that foster mutual respect, teamwork, and understanding. As they play side by side, barriers of geography, culture, and stereotypes begin to disappear, replaced by friendships, confidence, and a shared sense of purpose.
In this reporting period, 100 girls participated in sports activities and awareness sessions focused on health, leadership, gender equality, and mental well-being. Beyond improving physical fitness, the program empowered participants to become more confident, resilient, and engaged members of their communities.
By investing in girls through sport, we are helping build stronger, healthier, and more peaceful communities where every girl has the opportunity to lead, thrive, and inspire others
