Project Report | Sep 23, 2014
Sweet dreams are being made by your generous donations!

By Camila Urbina & Maria Fernanda Anzola. | Communicator

We have really exciting news to share! With your generosity and the help of local allies, we raised enough funds to buy ten cribs for the Pivijay Children's home. Ten cribs that are now being used by the Pivijay babies, to sleep, play and grow!

The baby boys and baby girls of the Pivijay Home have gone through difficult times with their families and need love and support, Right now, ten of the 25 babies will have just that thanks to your generosity! A chance to live a healthy life by having a  place sleep in comfortably and grow. The new cribs, made of wood, are replacing the rusty, unhealthy metal ones they had before. The best part of this? Each of the 10 babies will now have a crib for himself or herself to grow strong!

But, we still have a lot to do, and we could use your help! We could only afford ten cribs with their beddings and matresses, and we need fifteen more, so that every baby boy and baby girl in the Children's home can have her own place to sleep safely!

We are movilizing our volunteers and encouraging everyone we know to donate, reaching out to donors and social organizations in the region, it’s been difficult but we won’t give up until we can provide the best care for these children.

Contributing to the project will not only enable the healthy growth of these 25 babies, during the most important part of their development, but will also mean that the home will have a new, healthy and appropriate space to receive future babies as they come, a better opportunity for the towns next generations.

We are counting on your generous help to spread the word and give these babies the best chance at life!
