On Christmas day we rescued a girl chid with her mentally ill mother from the Trivandrum Central Railway station. They were in a very bad condition with dirt and smell all over. They were brought to our shelter home and our staff gave them a bath and provided new dress. The smile on the child's face has been immortalised in our minds and hearts. As the mother has been ill and was not talking to the child, though she was about six years old, she was unable to talk.
The Christmas meal with Christmas celebration followed and we were able to see more smiles on the face of the child and even on the face of the sick mother. The help recieved our generous contributors is increasingly becoming a blessing in the lives of the young chidlren at risk in our society. The joy and smile of children who recieve a new pair of colorful dress something that last as a fond memory in our minds. You too can be proud that this has been achieved through your generosity.
