We aim to provide basic school supplies like books, uniforms, school bags, and shoes to children in poverty to attend school. Since 2019, we have distributed basic supplies to over 2,000 underprivileged children in various rural schools in Enugu State. With your support, we will reach out to more children who need education to break a circle of poverty. There will be relief on the burden of parents, who are unemployed to raise funds for their children's school supplies. Back-to-school supplies
One in every five of the world's out-of-school children is in Nigeria. United Nations Children's Emergency Fund estimated the total number of out-of-school children in Nigeria to be over 20 million, and girls are greatly affected. Leaving children in poverty without help means putting them at risk of, child marriage, sexual exploitation, and disease as they are not guaranteed basic rights. SDGs4. This project will address all these challenges and impact 200 children in poverty annually with access to free basic school supplies. The provision of basic school supplies to vulnerable children will help them stay in school to learn with others and break the circle of poverty. Donating school supplies fosters a sense of community and empathy. It encourages individuals to think beyond themselves and consider the needs of others, promoting a culture of kindness and compassion.
Supporting this initiative will help in poverty reduction in Enugu State, Nigeria. It will also help to reduce out-of-school children child early marriage, child labour, child trafficking, and more in Enugu State. Offering vulnerable children access to free school supplies will help them learn and break a circle of poverty. donating school supplies to poor children is a meaningful way to contribute to a more equitable and inclusive education system, providing opportunities for personal growth.
