This year saw us kick off the tertiary program, this will enable the children on our sponsor child to continue with a basic courses which are meant to empower them to earn a living.
Tertiary education plays instrumental role in fostering growth, reducing poverty and boosting shared prosperity. A highly-skilled workforce, with a solid post-secondary education, is a prerequisite for innovation and growth.
Meet Jonathan, one of the first students on the tertiary progra. Jonathan is studying clearing and forward at Livingstone Institute of Business and Engineering Studies (LIBES). We started sponsoring Jonathan in grade 10 at David Livingstone Secondary School. His the first born in a family of 4; as the first born all his siblings look up to him. During his grade exams he got 14points. He is very grateful for this life time opportunity he has been given!
Thank you for giving students in Zambia a brighter future!
