The project to provide 400 lifesaving insecticide-treated mosquito nets to vulnerable children in rural Sokoto is currently ongoing. To date, the project has a total funding target of $4,800, with the full amount still required to complete the planned distribution. No donations have yet been recorded, and there are currently no monthly donors supporting the project.
The requested funding will cover the procurement and distribution of 400 long-lasting mosquito nets, alongside basic caregiver education on proper net use and malaria prevention. Once adequate funding is secured, Elite Star Foundation will identify vulnerable children and families, distribute the nets, and monitor their use within the target communities.
Continued financial support is urgently needed to move the project from planning and fundraising into full implementation. Every contribution will help provide direct malaria protection to children who are particularly vulnerable due to poverty, displacement, and limited access to healthcare. With sufficient funding, the Foundation can begin procurement and reach the targeted 400 children with this simple but potentially lifesaving intervention.
