ACORN Initiative is pleased to share with our donors and supporters the progress made in delivering quality care to mothers and their newborns by a local healthcare centre that serves IDPs.
Medical supplies have been provided to a local healthcare centre that serves the inhabitants of the Tse-yandev IDP camp, Makurdi.
Staff and volunteers of ACORN Initiative supplied delivery kits containing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), antiseptics, cotton wools, vitamins and malarial drugs to the medical centre in Mid-October 2021.
Since the intervention, the hospital has recorded a 12% improvement in its quality of care and service delivery to mothers and their newborn babies.
This was achievable because of you; therefore, we say thank you for your support as it is making a significant impact on the lives of the families.
