Challenge

Women and girls in Bentiu, South Sudan, face high risks of gender-based violence and abuse, especially among refugee and returnee populations. Lack of safe spaces, counseling, and protection services leaves 1,200 vulnerable women and girls exposed to trauma, exploitation, and unsafe living conditions.

Solution

This project will provide 1,200 women and girls with safe spaces, psychosocial support, and protection services. Trained counselors will offer trauma recovery, and community programs will promote awareness and prevention of abuse, helping beneficiaries heal and stay safe.

Long-Term Impact

Providing protection and counseling will improve the safety, resilience, and well-being of 1,200 women and girls in Bentiu. Educated and empowered, they can rebuild their lives, support their families, and contribute positively to their communities, reducing future risks of abuse.
