This quarter, our project continued supporting vulnerable girls facing barriers to education caused by poverty and inadequate menstrual health resources. For many students, a lack of sanitary supplies remains one of the leading causes of absenteeism.
Beyond missed school days, girls often experience stigma, shame, and limited access to reproductive health information. These challenges increase vulnerability to early pregnancy, school dropout, and long-term economic hardship.
Through donor support, girls received menstrual hygiene kits and participated in educational workshops focused on health, self-esteem, and personal development. Community engagement activities also encouraged parents and leaders to support girls' education and well-being.
The response has been overwhelmingly positive. Beneficiaries report feeling more confident and better prepared to manage their menstrual health. Teachers have observed stronger attendance patterns and increased classroom participation among supported students.
As external resources for youth services continue to decline, community-based initiatives like this are becoming increasingly important. By providing both practical assistance and education, the project is helping girls navigate challenges that might otherwise prevent them from reaching their goals.
Thank you for investing in girls' futures. Your support is helping create a generation of empowered young women equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and resources needed to succeed.
