Access to education remains under threat for many rural girls facing poverty and limited menstrual health resources. This quarter, our project focused on ensuring vulnerable girls could continue learning without interruptions caused by a lack of menstrual hygiene supplies.
Many schools report that girls continue to miss valuable classroom time each month due to inadequate sanitary products. At the same time, reduced funding for youth-focused health services has limited access to reproductive health information and guidance, increasing vulnerability to teenage pregnancy and school dropout.
With your support, we provided menstrual hygiene materials, educational workshops, and peer support sessions designed to empower girls with accurate information about their health and well-being. These sessions encouraged open dialogue and helped break long-standing cultural stigmas that often prevent girls from seeking assistance.
Teachers have observed improved participation among beneficiaries, with many girls demonstrating greater confidence and attendance. Parents also expressed appreciation for community awareness activities that promoted understanding and support for adolescent girls.
Education is one of the strongest tools for breaking cycles of poverty. By helping girls manage menstruation safely and confidently, this project is removing barriers that prevent them from reaching their full potential.
Thank you for standing with vulnerable girls during a time when support systems are increasingly stretched. Your generosity is helping protect education, health, and future opportunities for young women across rural communities.
