Hello Supporters!
As you know with all your amazing donations back in 2023 we was really excited to be able to fund 4 new camera traps, these traps have certainly been busy providing us with real time captures of different activities along with identifying new jaguars in the area, while it is always amazing to see this on camera the actual impact this has on our data collection and reporting is really outstanding.
The science team is able to use this new information to provide more detailed reports on the impact of jaguars with the ongoing destruction of the rainforest, we use this information and facts to prepare papers that we share with local and national governments in the aim to help protect these amazing cats.
We don't just focus on the government we also with the support of your donations run outreach programs to engage the wider community as education is key for us! Teaching the community of what is on their door step allows us to really build a strong awareness and generate support from the local community. We will tackle this issue in numbers!
Thank You,
