By Costa Rica Team | Project Leader
Dear Supporters,
In January 2011 we started this project with our team in Costa Rica with the aim to build a sustainable project that would be funded locally and sustainability. We know that conservation projects are long term and over the years our team have published countless papers that have included local, national and international partners to influence decision making to protect the Jaguars and the rainforest in Costa Rica.
Over the past 11 years with you by our side we have invested over $33,000 from 641 donors around the world and this inclides you! You have be apart of something unique and special and today although sad for us it is a huge achievement that we hand this project over to a local charity that has a sustainable funding source and will continue the great research and more importantly will continue local outreach activities to engage the local community in the issues these amazing wild animals face on their doorstep.
So what is next?: Our team is ready to head over to our next location with a similar mission and I am excited to let you know before anyone else that this new project will be in Peru! We are very excited to kick off in Peru but our priority now is fundraising through this project so we can set up in Peru over the next few months. We hope you Join Us in the next part of this project adventure to protect and save more wildlife and more of the beautiful rainforest
Thank You!
