We have very exciting news about one of the children's literacy projects we are supporting in Palestine. This year, the Middle East Children's Alliance helped fund the publication of 5 new children's books as well as trainings all in refugee camps, villages, and cities across the West Bank to train Palestinian women in reading aloud to children and distribute copies of the books. The project is being implemented by the Palestine Writing Workshop.
Yesterday, two of these fabulous new children's books (pictured below) just won Best Illustration and Best Production from Etisalat Award for Arabic Children's Literature!
We are so thrilled to be part of this effort to provide beautiful, engaging, and high quality books to children in Palestine. Thanks for supporting this project!
