Better Family Foundation for the past months has seriously being encouraging the Fundong community to join hands together to improve on the community radio. Better Family Foundation has organized fund raising programs at natioal and international levels to improve on proper functioning of the radio.
Many elites of Fundong subdivision has also being doing alot to help sponsor some radio programs. BFF on tthe other hand has helped in raising money through international organizations like Global Giving and others in order to assist the radio run programs that will meet the needs of the society.
As an outcome of our sensitization program many more educative programs have been put in place in our local radio programs. These programs are carried out using the native language, pidgin language and English. Most of the programs carried out were focussed on nutrition, sex education, HIV/AIDS sensitization, evironmental awareness and hygiene and sanitation.
With the money received, the radio authority has acquired some equipment and ameriolated the services for the radio.
We are grateful for great opportunity Global Giving has given us to be able to raise money to assist our communities. We thank all those who have donated money to assist the underpriviliged.
