Boyo Community Radio is growing rapidly these days! With each passing day it is becoming more and more common to hear it being broadcasted in local and English languages. It's becoming a truly popular source of information regarding politics, cultural events, Public health sensitization issues, announcements, news and entertainment. Recently the radio had attended the Handing Over Ceremony of the Ameng Village water project. It was very exciting to hear the address of the Director of Better Family Foundation, the Mayor for Fundong council and Divisional Officer being broadcasted live over the airwaves. This made people all over Boyo to feel being part of the ceremony. Along side of this progress are certainly a fair share of challenges. Every day at the radio station is a capacity building exercise of sorts for it's volunteer staff members. Many of the times there are complains of lack of many equipments to make the radio function properly. Presently there is campaign going on for local population to raise funds towards the proper functioning of the radio.
