Greetings from Fundong !
Boyo Community Radio (BCR) has been enduring plenty of hardship here in Fundong for the past several months. Particularly, the electricity has been incredibly reluctant to stay on continuously over the past month. This has made our broadcasting not steady which has been a huge frustration to us because we cannot air much of our wonderful programming. C'EST LE CAMEROUN !
In exciting news, Mr. Ndang Denis Awoah-- the gentleman who help founded BCR-- has become Fundong's Municipal Mayor! This may mean great things for the radio. We look forward to engaging in some valuable partnerships with the local government body so that together we improve Fundong.
Though these past few months have been a ‘see-saw’ of sorts we remain enthusiastic about our radio station as a tool to empower and change our community. We will persevere through the difficulties ! We thank you all for your contributions to our BCR community and hope you can share this opportunity to support us to your friends and family.
