Boyo Community Radio is growing rapidly these days! With each passing day it is becoming more and more common to hear it being broadcasted over local shops and offices. It's becoming a truly popular source of information regarding politics, cultural events, news and entertainment.
Recently the radio had attended the Handing Over Ceremony of the Kfuni-Itong Village water project. It was very exciting to hear the address of the Divisional Officer being broadcasted live over the airwaves. This afforded people in all of Boyo Division to feel as if they too were at the monumentus event.
Along side of this progress are certainly a fair share of challenges. Every day at the radio station is a capacity building exercise of sorts for it's volunteer staff members. So, sometimes attendance to meetings is a bit low and certainly almost always late. But, these, after all, are the conditions we're operating in! So we will perceviere.
