Congratulations to our 3 learners who have been receiving educational support from Philippine Leprosy Mission for the past 3 to 4 years!
UB, the 11-year old daughter of our Hansen's-affected single mother MB, graduated from elementary school at the end of Grade 6 last March 2026. PLM supported the graduation expenses of UB and the transportation allowance of her mother from the hospital to the school and back so that she can attend her daughter's graduation ceremony. UB says "being a doctor is my dream job."
Our medical student JQ is graduating from 4th year medical school soon with flying colors! PLM will also also support some graduation expenses for this future physician. Her mother is a social worker who is very happy and proud of her achiever of a daughter.
AC, our Hansen's Club member, has completed two courses this schoolyear: her second year at a ministry school and the Alternative Learning System (non-formal adult education) for high school. PLM has also sent funds to her for her toga rentals for her graduation ceremonies.
We are very happy for our educational assistance beneficiaries and certainly proud of their achievements! PLM will continue to support them. Thank you for helping our learners reach their dreams:)
