MG is a 42 year old treated Hansen's patient who lost one leg due to the complications of severe leprosy years ago. Her eyelid is paralyzed, both hands are clawed, and her remaining foot is deformed and numb too. She is a single mother and her blessing in life is her 9 year old daughter. She requested educational assistance from PLM for her daughter in time for school opening in August. PLM granted MG close to USD100 (PhP5000) for school supplies, a school uniform, and money for snacks and meals in school for 3 months.
MG and daughter are very grateful for this timely support. She send a short thank you video to PLM:)
MG is currently admitted in our medical center for the fabrication of a new leg prosthesis. She can not sell vegetables or do laundry to earn a living while she is confined.
With your continued contributions, we will be able to support the snacks and school needs of MG's daughter throughout the schoolyear.
