This year, Mama Dragons reimagined the way we show up for Pride and the results have been powerful, personal, and deeply impactful.
Instead of focusing on a few centralized events, we shifted to a grassroots, locally-driven model:
Mama Dragons provided all the materials — banners, flyers, Embracelets, Paper Hugs, and more.
And local advocates brought the love — showing up in their communities to represent Mama Dragons with courage and pride.
Thanks to this model, we were able to participate in 20 Pride celebrations across the country, many of them in places where Mama Dragons had never marched, tabled, or been visible before.
At each event, something beautiful happened:
We met mothers who thought they were alone.
We gave hugs, shared stories, and helped them feel seen.
And we welcomed many of them into our online community, where they can now receive ongoing support, education, and connection with thousands of other affirming moms.
This Pride season, your support helped us extend our reach, deepen our impact, and make sure that LGBTQ+ youth — and their families — know they are not alone.
We couldn’t do it without you.
