Hi everyone!
We are so happy to tell you about our last months. In Chile, the right to identity is not guaranteed for all people, this is the reason of we are so proud of your support: we are achieving that all chilean children and teenagers to shine with their colors.
Marinette is 13 years old and is a trans girl. Her classmates call her like a Carlos, even the boy who loves in secretly. Her grandparents, reject her at their home. She write to Todo Mejora App after search in Google with whom to talk. We give a emotional support that she was looking for.
This story it’s too much common in Chile. In Todo Mejora, we working daily to supports who afraid and alone, and suffer from violence because of their sexual orientation, gender identity and expression. We has given more than 6,000 attentions to children and youth LGBT at january, 2018.
Also, we has been working hard in the discussion Gender Identity Law. Our specialist gaven informative materials and testimonies about children and young LGBT to congressman to vote in favor of the project. Now, we want to participate in the next step; supporting to senator to approve the law.
In the next report we hope have a goods news about this project. We are more committed than ever to children and young people trans. See you in february!
