Stop Period Poverty for Girls in Morocco

Dear Friends, 

We are pleased to share an update on our ongoing efforts to combat period poverty and support girls' menstrual health. Thanks to your generosity and commitment, we continue to work toward a future where every girl can manage her menstrual health safely and with dignity.

Today, we are pleased to share a recent milestone made possible through your generosity. As part of our ongoing efforts to support vulnerable and marginalized girls we distributed our Talili sustainable  menstrual kit to 75 girls living in a center for children in difficult situations in Marrakech. Beyond providing essential menstrual products, this initiative created an opportunity to engage girls in conversations about menstrual health, hygiene, and self-care in a safe and supportive environment. For many of these girls, access to menstrual products remains a significant challenge. By providing these kits, we are helping reduce barriers that can affect their health, confidence, and daily lives. Each kit represents more than just supplies, it represents dignity, comfort, and the reassurance that they are supported and cared for.

Our work continues to demonstrate that addressing period poverty requires both access to products and access to information. Through discussions and awareness-raising activities, we helped create a safe space for girls to ask questions, learn about their bodies, and challenge the stigma that too often surrounds menstruation.

Together, these efforts contribute to a broader movement toward a future where no girl is disadvantaged because of her period.
