Preventing Pakistani youth from suicide and drugs

On March 7, 2026, AWARD organized a one-day Youth Leadership & Digital Awareness Seminar at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gojra, with the participation of 70 young women and men.

The seminar aimed to strengthen youth leadership by equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to use digital platforms responsibly, communicate effectively, and become positive influencers within their communities. The event also introduced participants to AWARD Pakistan's initiatives and encouraged them to become active leaders who contribute to positive social change.

The training focused on responsible social media use, digital citizenship, online safety, cyberbullying prevention, misinformation, and digital ethics. Participants learned how to verify online information, protect their privacy, create positive digital content, and use social media as a platform for education, advocacy, and community engagement.

Interactive discussions and practical activities encouraged participants to reflect on the opportunities and challenges of the digital world while strengthening their communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills. They also explored how young leaders can use digital platforms to raise awareness, promote positive values, and inspire community action.

The seminar concluded with participants committing to becoming responsible digital citizens and youth leaders who use technology to create positive change and support the development of safer and more informed communities.
