Our Community Heroes team has recently been working in Prey Veng province, which is about 2 hours South East of Phnom Penh, near the Vietnam Border. Chab Dai provides training, capacity-building, follow up and mentoring to leaders who express their commitment to become volunteer trainers; “heroes,” in their own communities. We supply our heroes with help cards that contain important contact info for local authorities including our own 24-hour hotline.
Community Heroes go through a day of training led by Chab Dai staff on the issues that are arising in Cambodia and in their communities, specifically. We teach about safe migration, online safety, and raise awareness on violence against women. Chab Dai aims to empower the local leaders by supporting them as they help their communities.
Your contributions allow us to print and distribute thousands of help cards as well as train local representatives to be leaders in their communities. We follow up with our Heroes several times a year and listen to their needs and support their work. Your contribution help stop human trafficking before it starts. We thank you for your support!
