Prevent mexican children from living in the street

Poverty is one of the factors that has grown during the pandemic severely affecting life of children and families that we accompany, limiting their resources to meet food needs, safety, psycho-emotional health and education.From Fundación Pro Niños we are carrying out all possible actions to follow accompanying, protecting and ensuring a life dignified.During the first half of 2021, the pandemic has led us to make changes that include the development of protocols for self-care and strategies to continue operating our programs remotely or in person with the purpose of strengthening and caring for the bond with children and adolescents also protecting health and emotional safety of all and all.

In April, through the digital platform Instagram, we collaborated with the citizens' initiative Pact for Early Childhood to talk about "The importance of our role as adults for the development of early childhood in conditions of social vulnerability."

In the months of May and June, we participated together with Fundación CEILI and QUÉ Y COMO, A.C. in the workshop "Citizen empowerment in favor of Children" through the Facebook Live platform. “I felt very satisfied to be able to collaborate with other organizations that seek the well-being of children and adolescents.

I also felt very accompanied by the team of both institutions regarding the preparation of the platform and the contents. It was a great challenge to get the message across in a more informal way. I felt very supported by the communication team and the participation of some educators from Fundación Pro Niños who saw the broadcasts.
