Remote Area Medical remains committed to serving patients in Guyana through its Women's Health initiative as soon as international conditions allow. As travel restrictions ease and we develop strategic planning to meet new goals for 2023, we are hopeful that we can return to South America soon in order to deliver free, quality healthcare to those in need.
Because of donors like you, in partnership with GlobalGiving, this program has allowed us to alleviate pain and suffering for many patients in the area by allowing RAM to:
Provide free, timely, and consistent cervical cancer screenings
Give HPV vaccinations and expanding the number of other vaccine offerings
Deliver diagnostic and preventative services to remote villages in Guyana
Partner our volunteers with local healthcare professionals to bring essential care to the Amerindian population
Create more access to diabetes and blood pressure screenings for women
Increase the number and quality of pediatric and medical clinics
Your donation is crucial in helping us achieve our mission. With your support, we can continue to provide these life-changing services and break down barriers to healthcare access. Thank you for your help.
